But first we must play on authentic Japanese playground items.

After trekking thru the humid hot weather,we make it to the bullet train (or shinkansen!)

Lloyd and Andy looking at something

oops. distracted.

SUP.
where was i?
oh yes. the shinkansen.

a friendly reminder to NOT get stuck in the train doors.

200mph and 2 hours later...
Shibuya Station

Random Ad for Wicked in Japan

if this intersection doesn't look familiar, it may be because there are no cars drifting thru it

After finally finding a hotel to stay at, we wander oustide to find some place to eat.

Jeremy filming something...

oh..i see.

SUPS.

SUPS.

After a long back and forth of deciding where to eat, Rika finally chooses for us and we go to this underground yakitori jumpoff. Its the kind of place where its seems like you need a password to enter. I wouldn't call it "small" persay, but more "cozy." The atmosphere was chill and relaxed. We get settled in and Rika proceeds to order for us.

Food came and we got down to business.
Starting off simple, with Cabbage.
Apparently, Cabbage is really big in Japan. You're supposed to eat them like you would chips at a mexican place. At least thats what I was told. I can imagine the waiters in the back laughing their asses off that they got another foreigner to fall for the ole cabbage trick again...

Next up, some skewers

BBQ'd Rice Plum ball

Then some Chicken and Liver.
RAW chicken, and RAW liver.

So I know what you're thinking. How this can't be legal, healthy or wise...
By everything we've been taught all thoughout life, I should technically be dead, or at the very least, REALLY REALLY sick.
But no. Not dead.
Yet.
and yes. it tastes just the way it smells...
DELICIOUS.
Up next was some grilled Pig's Feet

and ending with some pallete cleansers

After that decadent dinner, we stumble our way over to a bar to get adequetely tipsy.
Then meet up with Andy's friends to head over to a club called Pure.
30 dollar entry fee to get in.
Pretty steep, I know...But, that entry fee grants you UNLIMITED DRINKS ALL NIGHT.
Too many pics to post, so I'll give a cliffnotes version of the night.

So in a nutshell, that was pretty much day One in Tokyo.
I'm totally missing some parts that I'm sure Jeremy or Lloyd can fill in.
They just need to get blogs to do that.
[[ stares intently at lloyd ]]
[[ then masterbates furiously for no reason ]]
In any case, it was definitely one of our more packed days.
And now on to day Two in Tokyo.
Shopping, Temples, & Harajuku.
