japan: Day Eight

Day 8

So this is pretty much the final day of recordable events we had in Japan.

Its September 18 today, so yea.
It took me more than a month to recap our trip.
Not because it was that long, but because of my damn laziness.

Day 8 starts off pretty slow.

Like molasses slow.

We wake up some time in the afternoon and have a hard time deciding what to do.

Photobucket
( and no, your monitor isn't broken. Andy really IS that white. )

I have no problem waking up when people are around. But I have a hard time getting out of the "lazy" mode in the morning regardless of who is there.

I think this was the day that Andy had a basketball game to go play in his league.

( We think he just went out to see his OTHER girlfriend )

(( if Rika is reading this, then...sorry? ))

((( and if Andy is reading this, then... HAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAH.... Ha. )))

(((( Ha. ))))

Anyways, since Andy was out with his slut on the side, Jeremy and Lloyd try to console Rika.

She tries to resist at first...

But then she eventually gets with the program.

I tried to spoon with Lloyd but he was being all gay about it.

Wow, since our picture taking has slacked off IMMENSELY at this point, there are so many gaps i'm finding...

here's a picture that came next on the camera...

Photobucket

I think this was when they went downstairs to return the bikes?

Photobucket

Oh ok..

Alright, so we skip ahead to night time already in the pictures.
We went to go get dinner at this place that I forget the name of.

We get seated and I guess Lloyd is trying to tell us a story or joke or something..

Anyways the food comes to break the awkward silence.

Seaweed.

Assorted Sashimi.

Bibimbap.
Photobucket
(was the place we went to Korean?)

Beef Steak in Hot pot.

Rare Roast Beef Sashimi.

Okay, so this one is like Osaka's famous dish.
Apparently, when you go to Osaka, this is what you're supposed to get.
Photobucket
Tasted like an omelet with bonito flakes on top.

Moving on...

Raw Meats.

And finally, Raw Horse.

At first when Rika said she was gonna order "Horse" I really thought she was kidding.

Then she said it again.

"Horse."

Then I started freaking out.

But it came, and I didn't wanna pussy out.
So I ate it.
And if you didn't tell me what it was, I would have just thought it was the steak.
Its crazy how big of an effect social stigmas have on my stomach.

But overall, everything was good, as usual.

We leave the restaurant and start heading towards to the club.
Oh btw, its about 12 or 1am at this point.

We usually have dinner at about 11 or 12, so that its perfect timing with our nightlife.

Anyways, it was a special night because Andy AND Rika both came out with us tonight!

Usually we only get one companion for the night, but tonight we got a package deal.

Photobucket

This place was definitely more packed than any other club we've been to.
It could have been that this club was better, or that it was a saturday.

Photobucket

Anyways, if you're wondering, the club didn't have a smoke machine.

That fog is cigarette smoke, and it was thicker in person.

There's some videos to accompany this night, which can be found at Lloyd's iMeem account:

(I'm a notorious picture blinker.)

*******************************************************************************

And that concludes Day 8 of our Japan trip.
Day 9 and 10 were pretty much our chilling/relaxing days.

I'll post some pics of them sometime in the future, but as it stands, I've covered the real "meat" of our journey.

And now that our Japan Recap is over, most ppl will probably stop coming here.
Which means I can start posting my regular boring crap that used to go on my xanga. Which pretty much was like an online diary. But in this day and age, we don't call them "diaries" anymore.

We call them "blogs," because, well.........it just sounds LESS gay.
